The founder of the Science and Technology Park is the Educational Institution «Vitebsk State Technological University». The status of an innovation infrastructure entity of the Republic of Belarus – Science and Technology Park – was granted to the state-owned enterprise «Science and Technology Park of Vitebsk State Technological University» by Order No. 275 of the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus on October 25, 2010.
The NTPVGTU State Enterprise belongs to the category of university technology parks, which are designed to establish links between the scientific community, talented young students and representatives of the real sector of the economy in order to promote more dynamic implementation of innovative university developments.
